Each year, the Ohio Associaton for Gifted Children (OAGC) offers student scholarships for special activities that extend their special talent/interest areas, something a Classroom Antics Tech Camp certainly does. In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:
- Be an Ohio student in grades K-12, identified as gifted or talented according to OAC 3301-51-15.
- Not yet received an OAGC scholarship within the past twelve months.
If your child meets the criteria above, then we encourage you to apply for the scholarship and join us in one of our upcoming Summer Tech Camps. In order to apply for the scholarship, you must:
- Fill out an application with OAGC, and return it before the deadline of February 15.
- Each application must have a:
- nominator form (completed by an OAGC member)
- a parent form
- an eligibility form
- a media release form
- an essay
- a brochure for a Classroom Antics Program (available at link).
- 1 letter of recommendation from any of the following sources:
- Educational recommendation - teacher, principal, guidance counselor, or others who know the student in an academic capacity
- Civic recommendation - 4-H leader, church leader, leader of a group in which the student actively volunteers, or others who know the student in the community
- Personal recommendation - anyone that has known the student for at least one year and is not a family member.

If you child is granted the gifted children scholarship they could be awarded up to 75% of the fee for a Classroom Antics Tech Camp.
Since Classroom Antics Tech Camps do sell-out, we would like to encourage you to go ahead and reserve your space for this upcoming summer and if your child is awarded the scholarship we will refund the amount of the scholarship to the form of payment you used during registration.
